deodorizing underarms

deodorize the underarms

underarms are a very common source of odor and is sometimes referred to as bromhidrosis

odor is often generated from bacteria and smelly compounds on undergarments and clothing rather than the underarms themselves

antiperspirant deodorants can cause odor by blocking pores and trapping fungus and bacteria

extra strength deodorants can be particularly problematic as they are very difficult to remove by washing and can often irritate skin

aluminum deodorants tend to remove more non-odorous bacteria than the odorous bacteria and so in some cases can lead to worse underarm odor

once clothing, undergarments and underarms are successfully deodorized there is no need for deodorant at all
